Confectioner- Exceeds customer expectations by providing fast, genuinely friendly customer service and by ensuring that products are fresh, meeting Popcornopolis standards and exceeding customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Greets and acknowledges customers with a smile.
Organizes and tracks inventory for all confections.
Creates Popcornopolis signature Caramel Apples and other confections with skill and speed.
Creates a cheerful show in the drizzle window when creating confections.
Keeps the confection area and drizzle window clean and displayed properly.
Create seasonal confections during the appropriate times of the year.
Follows opening and closing procedures.
Fills customer orders by obtaining items from shelves, freezers, coolers, bins, tables, or
Understands and implements conflict resolution by handling difficult customer situations
Samples products and makes sales efforts to customers.
Be a Product Knowledge Pop Star.
Operates the POS system per standards identified in the Employee Training Manual.
Operates other retail equipment, e.g. coffee and soda machines, in the proper manner.
Strict adherence to cash handling procedures. Records prices, redeems promotional coupons, subtotals taxable items, and totals purchases on cash register.
Collects cash and/or initiates credit card charge payments from customers and makes change for cash transactions.
Counts money in cash drawer at beginning and end of work shift.
Records daily transaction amount from cash register to balance cash drawer.
Maintains a clean, neat uniform at all times.
Handles products per procedure identified in the Employee Training Manual.
Ability to be cross trained, if needed.
Utilizes proper cleaning techniques as identified in the Employee Training Manual.
Understands and uses food sanitation and health code regulations.
Acts as a team player through the standards identified in the Employee Training Manual.
Performs cleaning checks of lobby, bathrooms, and trash areas on a consistent basis.
Completes assigned secondary duties set by Managers and/or Assistant Managers.
